Movement has always been a part of who I am. But, running taught me what it means to be disciplined, determined, and completely in the moment. It pushed me to chase goals that once felt out of reach — through high school, into college, and beyond. I started my collegiate career at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa before transferring to Pittsburg State in Kansas, where I truly found my stride. Those years weren’t just about races or records — they were about growth, identity, and finding the kind of confidence that lasts long after you cross the finish line. Running shaped who I am in every way. It gave me lifelong friends, unforgettable experiences, and even my husband. But more than anything, it gave me perspective — that the best kind of success is the kind that stays rooted in who you are. I’m inspired by athletes who carry that same mindset — who work hard, chase progress, and still stay true to themselves. That’s what I try to embody every day: a love for sport, a love for creativity, and a love for the people who bring both to life.
